I saw a comment on Youtube where Gene recommended wireless sub connection as a last resort. I was about to hook up my two Monoprice 15" subs wirelessly (with an HTP-1) to avoid an XLR cable running across the walk area. After seeing his post, I wondered if I should stick with a wired connection.
What are the downsides of going wired? I assume latency and dropped signals are the most prominent concerns. I also read a wireless connection can make it difficult to choose the right crossover with Dirac and other room eq systems.
