Hi Everyone,
I am about to purchase a 5.1 system.....5 Bose single cubes and 1 Bose subwoofer with a Yamaha receiver (my budget is limited). I already have an accoustically transparent 110" projection screen in my basement theatre room. I would like to place 3 jewel cubes IN the wall behind the screen (I can cut a slot into the drywall and wire them relatively easily as my ceiling is unfinished at the moment), and 2 along the sides (these will probably be surfaced mounted). The subwoofer will be up front as well in the corner. I am not an audiophile.......but every time I hear these Bose speakers, I am just impressed with the sound. I like the small size and big sound and I am not a fan of tower speakers.
I would like to get your thoughts on putting the cubes in the wall to take advantage of the screen that I already have.
