Home theater upgrade dilemma

Hi There,
Before I ask my question lemme list the equipment I currently have and explian my situation.
Front/Center speakers : Athena AS-F2s ans Athena AS-C1
Surround : Definitive Pro100s
Surround Back : Definitive Pro80s
A/V Receiver : Denon AVR-4800

The situation is I just moved into a new house with an unfinished basement and I am planning to finish one of the areas for a good home theater. So I am thinking of upgrading my current configuration of speakers and A/V receiver.

I have heard a lot of AXIOM Epic 80 system and currently my eye is on it. My question : Is the quality of Epic 80 that much better than Athena audition series that it is worth investing my money into Epic 80. Or you would say that if on the scale of 1 to 10 if Epic 80 is 10 AThenas might be 8 and it is not really worth spending so much money on it. The other option I was thinking is to improve at my source level.
I know Denon AVR-4800 nothing but great. But I was hoping to go for Outlaw 770 7Ch amp and use my Denon-AVR-4800 as pre-amp. Load my surrounds with Athena bipoles, AS-R1s. Use some high quality cables and probably sound proof my home theater room properly. Do you think if it help to improve the sound better and take the rating from 8 to 9 or something like that.

I would really appreciate your expert opinions.
Thanks,

Look Into the Totem Acoustics Dream Theatre System. I think totem speakers are incredible. I would also suggest you dump the A/V receiver for Rotel Separates. They should be about the same cost as that receiver when it was new.

Thanks for the reply. I will look into Rotel separates. So you think that they are better than Outlaw separates too. I have not heard of Totem and are you recommending them over axiom?
