You guys are the best, I really appreciate the help. FM reception here is terrible, so how hard would it be to stream music from the computer to the 809? Can it be done with the ethernet cable or would I need to buy the Onkyo UWF-1?

I get zero over the air radio where I live so I'm in the same boat. The good news is that the 809 can play internet radio stations as long as it has a connection to the internet. It can also play music stored on your computer as long as you have DLNA server software configured on your computer. I'm not a huge fan of DLNA (personal taste) so I hooked a NeoTV 550 to my receiver via HDMI and use it accesses network shares on my home server.

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that helped me choose my new system, it has been up and running for a few weeks now. I can hear things in both music and movies that I never heard before, even when turned up to levels that almost pierce my eardrums it still sounds crystal clear.
