home theater hook up

I was wondering what everyone thought the best way to hook this up would be.Should I run my two front speakers directly form my receiver to the speakers or should I go from my receiver to my high level inputs on my sub first then to my speakers? Does anybody know what those inputs are for?

Front left and right straight to the speakers, LFE or sub out straight to the sub turn it on and enjoy,crossover in receiver can be set at about 80 HZ.
