Is there anyway to get Walter's Attention on here so he can come by and read post #19 on this thread? I would really like to find out the answer to that one.

I am here. We all have our own preferences. First of all now I live in an apartment, so space is an issue. In my house I had 2 front firing subs (build in mirrow image) for the front and two downfiring subs for the rear. Now I use 1 frontfiring and 1 downfiring both in the front. I have tried 2 identical subs, but for my preference it's one of each, I just like the combination better. The front firing is very thight where the downfiring kind of pulls the whole thing together. 2 downfiring would be a bit to much. It's a good combination for me. For music I use the frontfiring and turn the downfiring way down, For movies I open both of them up.

Thank you very much. It never crossed my mind to run 2 different style subs. I will look into it now. I want low growling bass but some tight bass helps out too. Thanks again Walter.
