First Ever Adult HD-DVD Arrives in Japan

Format war over, HD-DVD wins by way of *adult content* appearing on it first. Over in Japan GLAY'z, known for its "Brand-new-century-visual-super-exprotion-entertainment," just released the world's first adult film on HD-DVD entitled (if machine translation isn't too unreliable) "Slave Room." It's pretty significant since everybody and their mom knows that whatever format the adult industry supports is automatically the winner, or at least that's how the story goes.

Now I really want a HD-DVD player

That's a big thing to have first, but I'm sure there's a plant getting ready to pop BR discs any time. I really don't see HD making it in the long run, with Sony and Panasonic ALLIES this time, along with the other companies on BR's side, it's going to be a hard road for HD to go down. Watch for a sudden huge price drop around, say Thanksgiving..

And Format War II will really begin!
