the canucks just need to play more than a couple of their top guys. Last nite was a sloppy game against the oilers who didn't fair that well either. whatever it only ex., there's plenty of time for them to suck in the regular season. givem a break:D

Who doesn't like the hokey. Especially the "shake it all about" part. It really...wait...hockey?!? Erm...

GO FLAMES! :D

Unfortunately we don't have any pro hockey teams near Houston, but we do have the minors. The Houston Aeros are always a blast, plus you can show up the night of the game and get tickets on the glass behind the teams if you so choose. Its pretty sweet.
The minnesota wild farm team eh? Having season tickets for the wild, we get our daily "aero update" in between a period... Too bad our 3rd and 4th lines would probably BE on a farm team for any other franchise.

College hockey is the way to go... 1000 times more exciting. The gophers are such an unknown this year with so many changes to their lineup. We're gonna need some goal scorers to step up. I still have faith, especially with a kid I played hockey with (fischer), playing there. As for the NHL, I think the wings are still going to contend... they are a little more youthful now, they might be able to hang on in the playoffs this time.

You don't understand how BC'ers take hockey. It's like the stock market. The nucks are long overdue for a decent playoff stint, or the CUP. Our team last season could have done it, if it wasn't for a few individuals.

The Firing of Mark Crawford, and trading of Auld, Bertuzzi, and Allen is going to bite us in the ***. We need to firing Nonas, and get Burke back, and Crawford. It was a winning combo. Nonas managed to let Anson Carter slip away. FTW! Our best player for the season, who made the Sedins unstoppable.

UGH!

Its a Christmas Miracle!

I can't believe the Nucks beat Detroit!

I didn't get to see it (stupid work) but all I've heard is the nucks actually worked, and Sami Salo kept his slap shot happening frequently.

YES! :)

Wings will be here on the 19th :D

Pronger can kiss my arse. If there is anyone in the NHL I can't stand, it is him.

Damn that was a good home opener for us. New team looks pretty good already, and they will just improve. First 2 lines look great, and defense seems OK so far. Loved that 5 on 3 they killed off after getting the 2 goals on two back to back 5 on 3s. Not 1 but 2 weird events last night - 1) the ref getting hit in the eye with the puck. He had to leave and clearly was going to need stitches, and 2) I've seen glass break a number of times, but I've never seen anyone break one of the BOARDS. Nice one Cheechoo.
