HLR5067 and Gamma

Well, I finally found how to turn down the gamma on the Samsung 67 series and what a huge improvement in the blacks! I can actually make out detail!
Incredible.

Just thought I'd share my new found happiness with my TV.

It was set at 4. Turned it down to 0

is that under the main settings, or do you have to change it via the service menu? If it's in the hidden menu, what's the button sequece to access it? I have the same tv and was wondering about that.

Glocksrock - I PMed you with the information. I didn't put it up here because there are other sites that have paid areas with "advanced" information on TVs and I have posted on those sites in the past. Just trying not to be too much of a hypocrite!
