Hello, I'm new to the forum. Couldn't find anything when I searched so hope this isn't a repeat question; looking for any info on the HKav Titan speakers. When I internet search I mainly find info on their Bluetooth surround systems but not much info on the Titan speakers.

Looking at their site I see extortion pricing with little to no product information. I would look elsewhere!

Thanks for the feedback. I was suspicious that I couldnt find any information on the web, either good or bad. And the companies site had no relevant information on the specs. But hoped maybe it was a newer brand that wasn't popular yet and was a hidden gem bargain. I ended up getting a pair of Polk Audio m20 floor standing speakers to go with my psw108 powered subwoofer. Hooked them up earlier today and I am quite happy. This certainly isn't a house rocking stereo system by any means but the sound quality is good to my ears. I spent two hours listening to Fur Elise radio on Pandora and I really felt immersed in the music.

I am aware that Polk is considered on the low end of audiophile gear but one must take baby steps (and operate within ones budget). I give these speakers, for what I will be using them for, 5 stars. And what I read is they will get better with time as they break in... So hopefully more good stuff to come.

Glad you're happy, but if you were that 'trigger happy', we certainly could have helped with recommendations! Enjoy!

I still wouldn't mind some recommendations for anyone wishing to give them. These speakers won't be permanent, I hope to upgrade sometime in the next year.

I'm not seeking and don't listen to super loud, shake the windows. I do like quality sound that immerses me into what I am listening to. I listen to some piano concerto music, oldies, classic rock and country. So (obviosuly) I need a set that can cover that spread. My current amp is only 75w x 4 and even though I'm just using these two new floor standing speakers it usually is set between 10-30% volume. I also purchased a Polk psw108 powered subwoofer that is used along with these two new speakers which is usually kept set less than half at 160hz crossover.

In a year? If you buy the right set up to start, you won't need to upgrade for decades! Of course that only applies to speakers...

Listener Envelopment is as much about the room as it is about the speakers. When the time comes to upgrade, give us a budget and tell us about your room with pics and dimensions. There is a wealth of knowledge to be obtained from this site alone. Spend some time reading the AV Research tab and that will give you a glimpse as to how deep this rabbit hole will go!
