Hk Dvd22/25

Hi everyone its me again.What is the diff between the hk dvd22 and hk dvd25 will the 22 play all types of media,cdrw,cdr,and dvds,or just the hk dvd25.thers a huge diff in price,dont know much aBOUT DVD players.I dont know if I need to get a Hk dvd player because of my new hk7300 reciever.i just want the best picture,any suggestions?I think I was told by a forum member that the hk 7300 upconverts video does this pertain to the dvd player?

I'd guess the video rescaling may be better with the more expensive player. This will help to produce a smoother picture on larger screens.

You should try to buy equipment to match with your existing set up. If the rest of your system, esp. the display screen, is very high end, then it might be worthwhile buying the more expensive player. If you have a small TV then I doubt you'll be able to tell any difference between the two players.

There might be a difference in the sound quality of the two players, but I'm not so sure about this. From what I understand DTS is less affected by the equipment you're using compared to Dolby Digital because they are decoded differently.

Thanx for info,I currently use a 50" hd hitachi,but going to get the Sony 70" Qualia,I ordered the more expensive Hk dvd player.
