No problem at all. I just hope that I can help you out with this.
According to the manual, the receiver will use the left front speaker initially to set the master volume level. After that, it will move on to set the volume levels for the remaining speakers. The on screen display (OSD) will show which speaker is being set up at any given time.
When you hear the clicks, but before you get the error message, what does the OSD say?
For example, does it say, "FRONT L Noise Level Checking"? I'm wondering if it says something else, like "FRONT R Noise Level Checking" or "CENTER Noise Level Checking". If it doesn't say "FRONT L ...", then it means that it's trying to move on to another speaker and isn't able to do so.
Please let me know what it says, and we'll try to work through this. Thanks.
