Hiis from RH speaker using CD player only

As the title says I have a hissing Studio 60 when I use my CD player only. If I use my Denon DVD to play no issues....???
CD player Cambridge Audio and has been fine until few days ago and is only a couple of years old. I have not moved anything around.....
Any suggestions please??????

Your CD player is malfunctioning and needs repair or replacement.

In a word .... bugger. Oh well could be worse I thought maybe speaker to start with. Thanks guys.
