9 Put on the rubber gloves & get out the bbq tongs,paint brush & hair remover,take the tongs & lift up his tea bag & apply the nair hair remover generously with the paint brush.

I think a better idea would be to ask him to bring a set of his own tongs. Just pretend you dont have any and you cant run out and get some in time for dinner

You sure it wasn't a compliment? Most normal consumers think Bose is really good.

My thoughts exactly. Those with no clue about sound have bought into the marketing hype, and think of Bose as something good to be compared to.

My system has been called lame and middle of the road, but who really cares?
People post systems for a variety of reasons, one is to boast and get a pat on the back, others are for insight in weakness, strength and potential improovements.
It looks like you probably opened yourself up for an opinion, maybe it was a compliment,maybe it wasnt but I bet you asked for an opinion or made you guest feel he had to add his thoughts, not every system is going to sound good to everyone so let it go..isnt life too short?
