I guess what I'm looking for is information about how to place high-end speakers in a
I just inherited a set of Thiel floorstanders that were $4000 when they first came out. They sound great, but.. I have them in a not-perfectly-sized room. Kinda awkward space. With furniture other than a single listening chair.
The walls angle strangely and on one side, the side opposite the speakers, there is only a half wall. I'm in one of those new houses with the "crow's nests" on the second floor.
Anyway, I found this article on AVguide about speaker placement for these high-end, stereo speakers. But it doesn't help me if I have an awkward-shaped room. Anyone out there
