High end cartridge in low end TT: worth the buy?

I like to play my records with the cover down to reduce dust accumulation. The only problem I had with the Dust Bug on the Project was that the "handle" touched my dust cover when it was down. I had to very carefully bend the handle down slightly to clear the cover. Not the greatest looking bit of kit but if the Doc says that it helps... :)
The back of my Dustbug hits my dustcover as it moves towards the label. I'd move it in a bit, but the suction cup failed, likely because of age. So I used double sided tape to fix the cup to the plinth. I could change the position a bit, but it's not a huge deal for me to play records with the dustcover up. My tone arm hits the top of my dustcover when the Q-Up lifts it too. This would not happen without the Q-Up of course as you'd have to lift the dustcover first to manually raise the tonearm. These are tools I still would not want to be without!

Ok. This Q-up looks interesting. Especially if it can help this dumba$$ who always seems to leave the room during the last song and come back to it riding the gutter. @TLS Guy is this a recommended add on?

Ask the guy who has one! :)
edit: I guess I already said I wouldn't want to be without it! There are others that are way more expensive, but it has never failed to function properly in almost 5 years.

Can you post a picture or a link to it if you have already posted one? I want to see what it looks like installed. Thanks!

Ok, how does it work for you?
It's a great tool for me. I had to go to Amazon to see how long I've had it. 5 years this July. Never fails to pick up before the tonearm gets to the end of the dead wax. Never, ever picks up early. Except with 45's until I adjusted it a tad. Now that is fine too. I see on Amazon it says "frequently returned item". I imagine folks didn't know how to put it in the precise spot. Stick in the right place and it performs excellently.

It goes on with double sided tape. What I did was not press it down too tightly until I got it right. Now, it does not move. Never needs adjustment. Does not lift slow. It is a spring. But the tonearm doesn't go flying. Just lifts abruptly always at the right spot before the needle gets to the very end of the dead wax.

That is what I was wondering. I want something that is a smoother action even if I have to save for it. I see that is 50 vs 129 for the audio techica one which I do like the look of more. Meh, I won't have the table for at least a month. Thanks again!
