Let me begin by saying that I'm not an audiophile or anything like that, but I'm trying to understand a few things that will help me make a purchase.

However, I've always loved good sound to put it simply, and hope to benefit from any pearls of wisdom that are thrown my way.

I'm going to post my questions in the receiver/loudspeaker sections.

You should spend some time reading all the good writings at the home page library so to speak. It has lots of good papers.
