This sound is AMAZING. I am so glad you all helped me with this. Can't wait to hook up my sub. LOL my cat is so scared she is climbing up the curtains! Going to have to ease her in.

One thing though, I've got the Denton 1912 hooked directly up to my internet via ethernet, have tested the cable, it is good, but it is not connecting in the setup menu. Think it might be a refurb problem? or do you all know a trick off hand? my computer is hooked directly up to my setup so I can stream pandora off of that but would like to know its capable..

Did you try plugging the cable intended for your receiver into your pc instead just to make sure that's functioning?

Glancing through the user manual.. I assume your router does use DHCP right? If it does you shouldn't need to adjust any of the settings. If there's an option to reset network settings, try that. If all else fails, call up the support of the place you bought it (or I guess Denon support if it's warrantied through them).

Beautiful receiver by the way! Plenty of HDMI inputs for new equipment too

Many of us don't do internet/receiver and at this point, most of the regulars have figured this thread has run its course, so the exposure of your new question is very limited!
