Hello folks,
My buddy just gave me his old entertainment system which is an Insignia Receiver with 3 speakers and a sub. The receiver only has red/white input and outputs for sound. I am able to get surround sound on my television by running the cables through my cable box. However, my issue is, that it just does my cable television nothing else.
My television doesn't have any audio out plugins other than optical audio plug. The only other thing I want to get plugged into my sound system is my xbox 360. There is also no HDMI plugs on my sound receiver.
What are my simplest and cheapest options to get the TV and XBOX to run on my sound system? I have multiple red/white audio in plugs on my receiver.
