Ok little update... Still on the hunt for my speakers and after way too much reading think that I'm going to keep to either paradigm or monitor audio. Seems that no matter what speaker or what brand there is always someone who says a specific speaker is too bright or too laid back so with that in mind I have to narrow it down at some point. I have decided that for now all speakers are gone except the sub and going to try for a nice sounding 2.1 setup. I have a eye on a pair of monitor audio silver rx1's. They seem to have loads of positive reviews about sound and build quality. The ma rx1's are just under $500 for the pair and could also get a pair of paradigm atom v7 for just under $300. So with that in mind any thoughts on the two would be appreciated. I do understand these are probably at two different levels so what would be the best bang for the buck ? Or how do ya feel about either pair in general ? Are the ma's worth the extra $200 ?

Also forgot to mention the ma rx1 is a 6 ohm speaker. Can my denon 591 handle these for now ?

For me, Monitor Audio is worth it - the Denon 591 can handle them.

I might be wrong but, think the Paradigms are $299 each. I personally think that Paradigm is overated. JMO Some people describe a clear powerful tweet as bright, some tweets are. It's what sounds good to you that matters in the end. :D

Alright so update...after lots of debate and finally getting to listen to some psb, paradigm, and klipsch reference series I narrowed it down to the paradigm studio 10 and psb imagine b's. Liked the sound if both which were way ahead of the klipsch b3's that I recently sold. Ended up going with the paradigms. The highs were less harsh to me than what I was used to but a little more detailed than the psb so ordered them today snagged a open box set for $600 shipping included so not too bad I think anyway. Thank you guys for all the help!

By the way it's now time to work on a good amp I think. So what do you guys think of a so sonance sonamp sat 275 idk much about this part. I'm assuming I would hook it to the preamp of my denon and still have 2.1 ??
