Help with receivers setup

I just install my new Onkyo tx sr 705. With the DVD sounds great. But with the satelite box, a "humming" sound is present in subwoofer. I run the Audessey, but the sound still present. The speaker are inifinity TSS 800. Please give me some advise. Thanks

Sounds like a ground loop problem. I don't know about everyone else, but every subwoofer I guess has ground loop problems (aside from my now dead M&K) and I could never fix them.

I have been lucky and never had a ground loop issue. Can you ground the sub amp to the AVR and rid the issue like you can with an external amp and AVR?

Try connecting the cable box's chassis to a good ground.
