My dad gave me his old welling speaker system that are very old a few years ago i did get a new 7.2 A/V Receiver (Onkyo TX-NR676E) after his one died and i have been using them for about 3 years now and still work really well. I also went to an audio shop recently to listen to what new speakers sound like and it is insane.
I was hoping i could get recommendations of what i should be looking for and now while the EOFY sale is on i can upgrade, i have a little knowledge but i want to make sure i am getting something good that will last me a long time from now. I can spend 4k maximum.
I have not been able to find any info on the old speakers i have but i have uploaded pictures if anyone knows what they are:
