I am designing a new Subwoofer Box for my 2 Cerwin Vega VMAX 15.2 subwoofers and need some help decifering what I see. I brought this topic up a while back when I only had 1 VMAX 15.2 and proposed a ported box design. The idea was shot down by some because of significant port noise. I did some tweaking and added another sub and think Ive stumbled upon an optimal ported box for this application.

Woofer: QTY-2 Cerwin Vega VMAX 15.2 (Dual 2ohm coils)
Sensitivity: 87.3dB
RMS Power Handling: 600 Watts
FS: 22.6 Hz
Qts: .47
Qms: 4
Qes: .53
Vas: 2.9 ft3
Xmax: +/- .8"
Revc: 1.32 ohms/Coil

Box Specs:
Internal Volume: 10 cubic ft
Ports: QTY 2
Port Diameter: 6" internal diameter
Port Length: 32.75" (Two Flanged Ends)
Tuning Frequency: 20.02 Hz

Amplifier:
Currently I have a single BASH 500 amplifier from Parts Express running at 4ohms. I was planning to purchase another BASH 500 when I build the new box to run the additional subwoofer. Is there another amp in round about the same price range that would be better suited for my application?

The box configuration will have the ends of the ports flaired and firing downward. I plan to leave 6" between the port outlet and the floor.

The woofers will mount on the oposing sides of the enclosure.

Just think Polk PSW 650 except bigger and ports firing downward.
