Hi,
I am new here. I dont really have any kind of tech knowledge about connecting music systems. I need some help.

I recently found a pioneer amp (Model: SX 424). Its really old, I know, but I am studying in a university, and I cant really afford to get a new music system. I also have a pair of pioneer speakers along with it (Model: CS 40). I have lost all the wires required to connect these two together and could really use ur help. I have a few pics of the amp (u can see all the connections) and also of the speakers. I could mail them to anyone interested in helping me out. I just need to know what kind of wire I need and how I need to connect it.

Thanks for ur help :)

If you have a Radio Shack near by, ask for cheap speaker wire.
You don't need thick, or expensive wire for that particular receiver.
It's power is about 35 watts per chan, if my memory is correct, and your CS 40 speakers will work well with that receiver.
AWG-16 wire would work well in that situation.
Hook the speaker wires to the terminals on the back of the speaker box, being careful to observe the polarity (+ Red or - Black) of the connections.
Just match the color on the end at the speaker with the same color on the same terminal on the stereo.
Good Luck
