Help with 5.1 surround sound set-up

Hi
I was hoping to get some advice with 5.1 surround sound set up for my living room. Please see attached floor plan for my living room. My TV is located in a corner and that is where I intend to put the centre speaker for surround sound. The furniture in the plan approximates where it actually is..the sofas are actually right back to the walls. The room has a vaulted ceiling that is 16 feet at its highest which is approximately 8 feet of its width. It then tapers off to the sides. I have marked A, B, C & D on the plan where there are speaker cables embedded in the walls at a height of about 8 feet. These run back to behind the TV.
The majority of the time there is one person on each sofa sitting towards the corner window end and other times there are more people sitting on both sofas.
Where would be most suitable place to put the other four speakers?
Any advice would be much appreciated and thanks in advance :)

You could keep a very tight front with all 3 very close to the TV since there is no room but this is a really bad setup for a surround system because there is no room for the left and right main speakers (unless there is more room than the pdf show). You will miss out on the front soundstage with a very narrow front section. Hate to say it but consider a soundbar.
The pre wired 4 can be used for surrounds and rear surrounds for a 7.1. Not optimal with the couches next to the walls but might be ok.

Sorry, but this is a classic case of a room designed with no appreciation for optimizing Home Theater needs; and then stuffing it in after the fact. The proposed seating, TV, & speaker placement is all wrong.

As much as I'm not a fan of hanging the TV above the Fireplace, and using a swing down bracket, I see that as a possible solution which could get it close to a reasonable setup. Point "A" would be the LF connection point, the Center would be below (or above) the TV on the bracket, the old Center would become the new RF. Points C & D would be the surrounds.

Just my 2 cents...
