I recently purchased two LSI-25 Polks , LSI-C , PSW PRO 600 sub and Polk recommends using a 4ohm receiver but after reading some threads and a post from the Audioholics they say a high end 8 ohm will do fine. So now which receiver to buy ? Does anyone have any suggestions or maybe the same set up on which receiver works best with the Polk LSI-25's ~ on both sides of the spectrum music and movies . Thanks for your time it'll be greatly aprreciated. :

What is your budget ?

I would look at going with something like the Yamaha RX-V665 or 765 and use its pre-outs with one of the 5 channel amps from Emotiva. This would give the Polks the power they should have to realize their full potential.

The LSI's can be pretty demanding. Especially if your using all LSI's with a receiver.

Id look at the emotiva xpa5, paired with an avr that has the features you need along the preouts. The LSi series need a beefy / stout amp section.
