OK, here's our sad story. I'm a 55 year old man. Wifey is same age. I'm dum n she's dumer (I will deny to her I ever said that). Thats right, we were teenagers when 4 track tape decks were cutting edge tech and were proud of it. Our generation and it's music were special. You know, Hippies, Peace, Love, Prosperity. Music by Hendrix, Dylan, Stones, Iron Butterfly. Slogans like, "Down With The Man, Pigs (police) and the ever popular "Hell No We Wont Go" (Vietnam). Anyway, before I give myself a flashback I better get to the point. Were both very computer literate but when it comes to tunes were still in the cassette era. Hell, i'm thrilled to get separation on my cars cassette deck. Recently we purchased a sealed box at a Self Storage Auction. Inside was what I first thought was a large and very heavy boxed speaker. Well it wasnt and I need help in identifying it. I Hooked it up to my home CD player and 1 little old cheapie Emerson speaker in a plastic case and got fantastic sound. I've scoured the internet and think I've found the company that makes, or used to make it but all they make now is stuff for accoustic instruments, violins, guitars, etc. I dont know if its an amp because all the ones I've seen are shaped like my home tuner for AM FM, CD, Cassette, Patio Speakers, etc. Any info anyone can provide on it and it's value (so we know if we got a good deal) will be appreciated.
