@Pauly67 Great to hear you got your A80k and are happy with it.

Few folks will have had the opportunity to listen to the CCB-8s, and the Polk Signature, or Triangle Borea series you are referencing.

Perhaps @shadyJ can advise. Comparing speakers is such a personal thing, and quite room dependent (IMHO), so getting them into your home for a demo would be the best way to evaluate them. (Of course I didn't do that with the HSU CCB-8s as I had to rely solely on reviews, and comments from others who heard them before importing them into Canada. But I'd still buy them again in a heartbeat => except with the Black Cones now! Although I guess the yellow ones were different.)

Will you audition different speakers before deciding what to buy or ?
The Hsu CCB-8s are narrow directivity speakers compared to the Triangle or Polk speakers. That means that the angle at which they emit sound will be much smaller. This makes them less affected by room acoustics, but some people do prefer the sound of more lateral reflections from wide dispersion speakers. Audioholics has an in-depth review of the CCB-8s here. I enjoyed listening to them and I would love to have a pair to keep someday.

Jim, I have the wheels in motion to audition some speakers in my room. It does make the most sense!

Thank you all for info on Onkyo/Pioneer situation. am definitely leaning towards the denon 3700, and it looks like 3800 maybe even better with future DIRAC and current Aurro3D features seen on the 4700

I like the idea of moving B&W to rears and replacing those with a beefier set of tower speakers and upgrade SUBs!. Recommendations on something that will blend well with my B&W Center channel?

I uploaded a couple pics of my family room to give u an idea of seating and speaker setup!
I moved my older model B&W bookshelf speakers to back rear surrounds and moved my prior B&W center channel to my family room system, and I am glad I was able to repurpose them. I upgrade within the B&W family for fear of timbre matching issues. I put a relatively inexpensive NAD receiver with Dirac and a BlueSound dongle in my family room and am pleased with its performance and value.

I'm thinking I will move my B&W bookshelf's and center along with my Pioneer 50 inch to the living room to keep everything uniform . Hence I am looking for the complete Atmos surround setup for the family room .

You have a really large room to fill with sound. Below LCR are some of the best reviewed speakers if you can swing the price. You would not be sorry.

Thank you all for the feedback!

Currently running :

Onkyo 7100 w Dirac (amazing room correction software)
Sub- SVS PB-1000 Pro (Maybe 2 eventually)
Fronts: Polk Reserve R200 Bookshelf on 32 in stands or R600 towers if I decide to upgrade.
The R200 sounded more clear and better treble than the R500 towers I demoed since the Sub handles the bass more efficiently.
Center: R400 (also tried R300) The R400 has better sound and matches the 6.5 drivers of the R200
Rears : Polk ES15 oe ES20
Height : Polk R900

What do you guys think of this setup? Very happy with the sound of the Reserve line!

Suggestions on changes?
