Help: Rotel Or Yamaha

Hello All,

Which one to buy?
ROTEL 1068
or
YAMAHA RXV2500

I'm 75% movies & 25% music.
If Yamaha, I'll use it as a pre-amp because I have a 5-channel amp.

mostly movies.. go with the Yammy. it has more flexibility to match your room acoustics.

The 1068 is not an amp but a processor, which means you are going to need additional amps. If you mean the rsx-1067 its a great receiver (I have the 1056) I too was debating between the 1056 and rxv2500 but decided to go with the Rotel though its per channel output was less.
