help regarding speakers

hi ppl, here's the thing, i have a pair of SK-A30 Speakers, i think the brand is TEAC but they were bought several years ago and i'm not sure.
anyway, i actually like them, i think they have enough power and the sound seems ok but i tried finding the specs for them on the web and i can't find them anywhere!

can somebody help me regarding these speakers? i just want to find out more about them in terms of their sound quality.

They are 24 watt maximum Multimedia SK-A30 speakers. They are typically used to provide PC sound. There is not much information available on the speakers.

If you like the sound and they provide enough volume without speaker distortion, then by all means they are good speakers. If you decide to upgrade the Cambridge Audio S-30 are excellent small speakers with great sound and a great price ( $250/pair).

You don't say, but my guess is that you are running these speakers off of a computer, mp3 player, or something like that - not an amp or AVR.

If that's the case, then in order to use bookshelves like the Cambridge Audio S-30, you'll need to buy an amp. You might be better off to look in to a 2.1 computer speaker system, maybe something from Klipsch or LogiTech, as you'll get better bass with a sub.

Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 : $150
LogiTech Z-2300 : $150

I haven't heard either, but the Klipshc has larger mid-woofers, so I'd lean towards that. (Besides, they just build speakers, not mice, keyboards & speakers)
