Hi All,

New to this forum.
Just went into Magnolia (I dont know any other shop), listened to a bunch of speakers and here are the solution attached.
I did not research in the audio for more than a decade, would like to get into this again but I am completely out dated.
Please advise if these system looks good or for this budget (low 10s), I can do better.
Any local shop recommendation are also appreciated (Southern California)

Thank you

Everything but the Audioquest cables looks OK to me. Why the decision to go with an in-wall sub? To be unobtrusive I presume?

That's from Magnolia though. I do agree, there are better speakers than those for the price.

Where, in California? Google 'AV Dealers in (Your Area)' and it will show everyone who's listed.

Also, and I don't see the price for each line, I doubt you need C4 for this, unless you're tying it in with an existing C4 system. RTI, URC and other remote control systems are fully able to operate this system.

I agree about the AudioQuest cables, too- especially if they're the really expensive HDMI type and the sales person says that they'll improve the audio. Since the signal is all digital and the cables aren't there to change the signal, this isn't likely to be true.

Also, make sure they're giving you a good price on the in-wall sub, because it has been discontinued. Doesn't make it a bad item, but you may be able to get the new model for a similar price. Ask about this. If you can use a floor-standing subwoofer, you'll be able to get a better one for the money AND you'll be able to move it to the best location- something that's impossible/expensive to do with the in-wall type.
