Help needed to select new TV

The curved white surface is not glass? This is what I was referring to. The front of the center should be flush with with the curve. Otherwise, the bounce off the surface in front of the center will create comb filtering effect for center. You will need to rerun Audessy. You might find that the center sounds even better :).
Oh, I see what you are saying - The clear glass is above the center as well as white frosted glass below it - in fact the one of the reasons I picked tSc tc2 is because very few high performing centers were able to fit in my center's height limit of about 6.8"

Moving center closer to edge of class is doable, but it'll will move it farther away from the TV line - I guess adjusting the delays would fix this and this shouldn't be an issue - right?

There will be no issue if you rerun Audessy after changing the location of the center. In fact, you must rerun Audessy to get corrected phase and level setting. IMO, after the auto eq completes, take a measuring tape and fine tune the distances.

Listen to a music DVD (something with music panning from one side of the fronts to the other), before and after moving the speaker.

Thx, I don't aim to get perfect ISF calibration, but something manageable
More importantly is reliability of TV - I'd like my next to survive more than 5 years if possible
Okay, it last five years, but not much longer. Luckily i was able to repair it with service on buffer board. Made in Japan does not means much i guess.
