I still have my SVS PB12 plus 2 and although I really haven’t been using it much it still rocks. I have been debating selling it to a coworker that really wants it but I am torn. Like I said I’m currently not using it much, like hardly ever and feel like if I delve back unto the home theater scene I can buy a new SVS 16” model. I guess I’m asking for advice as to sell or not to sell, Will I be disappointed with a new SVS vs my old? If I decide to sell what is reasonable? It has maybe 250 hrs on it.

Thank you for any advice.
Mike.

If you aint using your current sub that much, chances are you won't be using future subs that much as well. Unless you really think you will be delving back in home theater, you may as well hold on to it.

1. The svs subs don't show any signs of getting worse. So it's likely the next thing they offer will be a very good product

2. If you aren't using it, and you can sell it...I'd sell it

Thanks for the replies, the two post perfectly summarized the internal mental struggle I’m dealing with. I find myself no closer to a decision in either direction. Lol.
Again thanks for the time to post.
Mike.

You won't get your original investment amount if you sell it - and then when you need a subwoofer again for any application (music or HT) you'll be facing a new and more expensive purchase.

We do still have some BASH amps in stock for the dual driver subs - but you could also switch to an external pro-sound amp (just install binding posts on the plate) and use something like a miniDSP 2x4 for filtering and EQ.

I still have dual Ultra/2 subs in one of my systems.
