Hi, 1st post here but long time Audioholics YouTube subscriber. I am working with my Audio Video installer here in the Tampa/Clearwater area and since doing this is very expensive I want to make the correct decision. So if I am missing anything please let me know.

In my family room I have a McIntosh MC207 7ch 200watt all channels driven amp and Marantz AV7705 processor from 2019 and Revel Concerta2 speakers from 2018 and 2 Revel B10 subs and 2 Revel ceiling speakers for rears.

My wife and I actually do not use this room much due to the horrible acoustics. Tall vaulted ceilings, marble floors....lots of reverb...see photos. Plus my wife is not a fan of the couch in this room. I do plan on doing some acoustical treatment but it is hard to find someone in the Tampa area that does this and the one I found wants $20k or more.

In the bedroom I have the same Revel Concerta2 speakers, 2 Revel ceiling speakers for rears, 2- SVS SB2000 12" sealed subs but a Marantz 5012 receiver. This receiver is going to another room and what started this hole process...LOL.

Since we watch so much TV in the bedroom after dinner and into the night I am considering moving the McIntosh/Marantz processor into the bedroom and putting a Marantz Cinema 50 in the family room. Also adding 2 ceiling speakers in the middle sides to gain Atmos in the bedroom.

The installer does not sell Revel and has quoted me either Sonus Faber or B&W ceiling speakers. I'd rather match up with Revel since that is what I have for the rears.
The installer suggested 2 Atmos ceiling speakers.....do I need 4 or will 2 be good?
Also upgrading the TV to a Sony 83" OLED.

To do this moving around, new Sony TV, Marantz Cinema 50, adding 2 Atmos speakers in the ceiling, speaker wire and installer says I need new HDMI2.3 cables from TV to processor that run through the wall plus programing my Control4 for both systems...I am looking at $8k.

Would you move the gear around? My installer says the McIntosh amp and Marantz 7705 processor will really wake up the sound in the bedroom even at low or mid volume over the much lessor old Marantz 5012 reciever.
