Help me to match a amp with a def tech Mythos five system

Hello!!!

I'm a newbie here, and I want to ask your help to find a amp that could work well with my future Def Tech Mythos five soud system.

A regular amp or a A/V receiver?

Need more information as what size the room and current setup is.

Actually I think an A/V receiver could work better for me.

My room haves 18m2 and my setup is:
TV: Samsung UN55C6500
Blu-ray player: Samsung BD-C6500

And I'm thinking about to buy a mythos five gem system from definitive technology, but if you guys could suggest me any other speakers system on a budget of 2500$ (more or less) I'll be very thankfull.

If this is the system, I’d skip it simply because of the sub. Where do you live since you’re using metrics? We need dimensions (L x W x H) for the room to size the sub appropriately.

If you’re in the U.S., for around $1800 shipped you could purchase an Ascend Acoustics CMT-340/CMT-340C/HTM-200 combo w/stands and an SVS PB12-NSD which would knock the socks off the DT system.

This could easily be powered by a Denon 1910.

I live in Panama, and I don't know if I an find Ascend Acoustics here. But I'll look or.
The dimensions of my room are:
L : 4.5m
W: 4.2m
H: 3m
I was thinking about an onkyo TX-SR607 or a Denon AVR 890, what do you guys think about this two?

I suggest you e-mail SVS, sales@svsound.com, to see what the options might be to obtain one of these systems: http://www.svsound.com/products-sys-sbs_black.cfm. Otherwise, you may want to look around more for other speaker options, especially for the sub. BTW, the sub doesn’t have to match the speakers.

The Onkyo or Denon 7/890 should work just fine.
