Hello everyone, please help me choose between Klipsch RF 52 and Paradigm Monitor7 V6. I have Harman Kardon 355 and PSB for surround. So far I'm about to get speakers for my Front.
Movies ( 70%)- Action, Science Fiction
Music ( 30 % )- Rock-Hardrock, Blues, Pop
Room ( HxWxD )- 2.5m x 4m x 3.5m
Haven't decided for the Sub yet. Will do after I get the Front. Sorry for my English. I'm from Thailand and Eng isn't my native language. By the way, I used JBL Stage for my front and I'm not satisfied. To me,they sound kinda muddy, not clear and no booominess. Thanks a lot.:D

Have you auditioned them? If not, you should, and base your decision on that, as your preferences may differ from those here. If you want an opinion, then one vote for Paradigm here.

Yeah, some will prefer Klipsch and some will prefer Paradigm.

I've listened to some Paradigm tower speakers a couple of times - one at the store and one at a friend's house. I didn't like them; I thought they sounded "muddy" both times. And the bass was weak too.

I've listened to some Klipsch towers at a store. I thought they sounded pretty good.

So it's all about preference and the room acoustics that match with your speakers.

Just an opinion, but I prefer the Paradigms over the Klipsch. I've heard both, and they both do a solid job for movies. To me, the Paradigm Monitors have a slight edge for music. Just curious why PSB isn't on your list since you already have some for surrounds? Is there something about them you don't like? I don't think I've heard much if any negative comments about PSB's.

Klipsch

Own both....prefer Klipsch at given price points on their better speakers....having said that, Klipsch makes some weak Synergy line speakers....virtually all Pardigm speakers at least very good....

I prefer the Paradigms over the Klipsch's but am not a huge fan of either. I especially don't care for horn-loaded speakers, they are way too bright for my particular tastes but that is just my opinion. Have you heard the Klipschs? You may also want to look into Kef and B&W if you prefer the more "crisp" and revealing speakers without the harshness of horns. PSB should also be on your list, they make some nice speakers that do equally well with HT/music.

The best advice I can give is go audition for yourself. You will be suprised how differently speakers sound from one another. Bring your favorite tunes and movies along. It took me well over six months to find the right set of speakers. I have heard just about every speaker the audio stores carry within a 120 mile radius from my home.

Welcome to Audioholics A.K.A. "The Money Pit"

I had the same choice to make, but between Studio 60's and Klipsch WF-35. As you'll see in my signature, I ended up buying the Klipsch. Here are the reasons:

-The Klipsch are amazing for movies. IMO, they are hard to beat.
-The Paradigm are extremly good for music, better than the Klipsch most of the time.
-The Klipsch looked so good to me, I felt in love right away.
-The Klipsch give a sens of realism to movies that I coudn't ear before.

Good luck! And remember, only you can make the best choice for your ears!

Personally I have found that I really don't care for Klipsch's horn-loaded tweeters and it kind of just turns me off of their sound all together. I would make sure to listen to them before you pull the trigger, because you could be like me.

These speakers (Paradigm vs Klipsch) are so different that you better listen quite a bit to both. I like better the Paradigm but Klipsch are (also) built VERY well . My vote would go to the Paradigm but I can only say very good things about the Klipsch (just not my cup of tea).
