Help in selecting the right Center Channel & Subwoofer combination

Right now I have the Def tech BP 7002s for the mains and Def Tech UIW-94 in-ceiling speakers for the rears. As for the center channel and the subwoofer, I am little confused here.

As far as the subwoofer is concerned, I like the Martin Logan depth. It has 3 8" powered bass drivers within itself. For the center channel I like the def tech CLR 3000, which has a built in 10" subwoofer.

My confusion is : the 7002's have 1 powered 12" sub and 2 passive 12" bass drivers and the CLR 3000 has a 10" built in powered sub. How well will the above mains and the center work with the Martin Logan sub which has only 8" driver (but has 3 of them and all of them are powered) ? Will the 7002's and CLR 3000 overwhelm the Martin Logan depth ? Should I change the combination to either

Use a smaller Center so that it uses the same size or smaller drivers than the sub:
BP 7002 + Def tech CLR 2500 (has built in 8" sub) + Martin Logan Depth (has 3 8" powered bass drivers)

OR

Use a different sub that uses a bigger bass driver:
BP 7002 + CLR 3000 + Supercube I or Supercube Reference
Supercube I uses 1 powered 10" drivers + 2 passive 10" radiators
Supercube Reference uses 1 powered 14" drivers + 2 passive 14" radiators

How does the Martin Logan Depth with 3 smaller powered drivers compare with the supercube that has only 1, though bigger, powered drivers with 2 passive radiators ?

Does anyone has any experience or opinions with the above combinations ?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I don't think you can go wrong with the ML Depth. I've demo'd them before, and although they are quite expensive, they sound wonderful. I've also demo'd a 5.1 set of Def Tech's recently, and didn't think the bass in the front towers was equivalent to a higher end sub. It was solid, but didn't seem to go quite as low. It could have been the placement in the HT room, as the towers were probably 6 feet from the corner and 2 feet from the wall. IMO the purpose of a center is for voice, and not bass. You really don't need a sub in a center channel. Are you looking for mind destroying bass, or good clean bass? The Def Tech with built in powered subwoofers were meant to run without any help from a box type sub, but again, placement is key. I'm one to preach the larger the driver, the better, but in the case of the ML, they are my one exception.
