HELP...I'm looking for specific features in a DVD player.

Up-conversion to 1080i, at least through DVI, (through component would be nice, but not a necessity).

The ability to play DIVX and MPEG4, (plus the usual DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, VCD, SVCD, MP3[with titles], WMA9 and of course CD-R-RW).

Is there any animal out there that can/will do this?...in the near future?

This Samsung DVD player has the 1080i upconversion resolution and the Faroudja video processing chip. It plays JPEG digital photo, it has HDMI, SACD,MP3/WMA, but as far as the JPEG4 compression feature I have no idea when and if will be available in DVD Players.

Unfortunately, the Samsung 941 is not available in Canada.

Any other inputs...
