Two weeks ago I purchased a Panasonic TV and Klipsch speakers from Tweeter, put them on no interest 12 mos. I held off on delivery because I was waiting for my receiver to be shipped from Adioholics. I called Tweeter today to set delivery and setup for tomorrow. My UPS man generally comes at 7pm. Should I cancel my order and start over elsewhere? Thanks

If you can get it for less somewhere else you might as well.

If they are going out of business, I would get with the manager and get up front about the financing. Just to be safe. And maybe they will have a fire sale? Is that your angle?

I wouldn't be surprised if they do go out of business... I called them for a quote on having them build me a sub box for my car. He said the box would start out at $400... this is for a simple ported box for 2 12's... I found someone else to make it for me for $125 shipped, including paypal fees, and I got the box last night and it's just as good as anything Tweeter would have built.

Damned if I do and Damned if I dont

I went to tweeter to talk with them. They declared bankruptcy today so I loose my merchandise and I can't get my money atleast for now. If I paid with American Express it wouldnt be an issue and if tweeter didn't send my paperwork to GE it would be nice. I guess I have to see what happens.

What kind of bankruptcy did they declare? Are they reorganizing or are they completely going out of business?

Wow. Good luck. My local Tweeter (Sound Advice) called me to cancel a pending order and refunded my money.

Maybe he just misunderstood me and thought I wanted subs in the box... but I was pretty sure I made it clear that I wanted just a box, and that I already had subs to put in it.

I'm with you on that 100% except when the local store is going out of business as is the case with Tweeter. In that case I'll take the savings and a reputable ID outfit like OneCall. OneCall is reputable, isn't it?
