Hi fellas,
Trying to buy my first HT.
Can someone help me with deciding in between above two. I am planning to pair these with Yamaha RXV 2500.
Infinity is $430 shipped and comes with cables and mounting brackets.
Quintet II is $550 shipped but no cables.

Also another one I am not sure about is Athena Micra 6. It is $300 at Bestbuy. So aroind $320 with tax.
I am leaning towards Quintet but read somewhere that its bright and was wondering if it will go well with Yamaha 2500.
Thanks for your advice.

How large is your room? Also, are you sticking with micro speakers for a reason (WAF?) or is that just a coincidence with your budget? I owned the original Quintet system and they sounded quite good for what they were. However, they are small, sound small, and never really seemed to comfortably fill my medium-sized room with sound. Although it does not include a sub, i would consider going this route over the Quintets unless you have to go as small as possible:

I live in apartment. So I dont know if I need HT system itself to begin with :))
Feel like having it just to treat myself. My room size is perhaps 16X12 feet max.
So these should suffice in power. Another consideration was portability. Small speakers can really fit well in small box and I have heard Quintets sound
I was thinking about Athena Micra6. But the price for Athena 15345 Point 5 MKII looks amazing at 200 bucks. You have added one more choice to my dilemna.
I will think over and decide. will let you know.
