Help: Connecting tv to Pioneer VSX-816-K

Hello,

I have a Pioneer VSX-816-K that I have connected a dish network sat reciever, DVD player and xbox. The xbox and the dvd player show up on the tv when the tv channel is on input1 but I have to turn to channel 3 to get the sat signal. How do I make the sat signal come in on tv input 1 like everything else?

You must have the RF cable (coax with the F-pin connector) connected from the sat receiver to the antenna input of the TV.

You need to make a video connection from the sat receiver to the Pioneer receiver just like the dvd player and xbox.

It is already set up that way, thats what I cant figure out.

What kind of video connection is going from the sat box to the receiver, and what kind is going from the DVD player and xbox to the receiver?

The way this statement was worded probably added confusion. What I meant was that the description of the problem implied to me that the above is how things are connected and that is NOT the way you want it.
