Hello from newbie

Hello folks. I'm glad I found this place.
The main reason I have joined at this time is to learn about subwoofery. I want to build one or more subwoofers for our system at home here. I also need a better understanding of how to best hook these up, first to what I've got and later to an upgraded menagerie.

From the looks of it I have found the place to get me started. Thanks.
