Height speaker recommendations?

One thing I would check is what speaker setups your AVR supports. My Denon supports both overhead ATMOS positioning and top of the wall height positioning. The receiver needs that information to process the effects correctly. No sense installing height speakers if the receiver is expecting ATMOS positioning. If your AVR can be configured for height speakers then it could be worth a trial. If it is expecting ATMOS positioning and you can't place any speakers overhead, then I would forgo the extra effects channels. Looks like you have the bed layer covered pretty nicely.

Thanks very much @Eppie. In my case I have a Marantz AV10 processor, so I should be in good shape. Even so, I appreciate the good advice. Seems like all but 1 member here has really tried to give supportive and helpful feedback, which I appreciate.

Given your room and budget, the Arendal 1723 Height S and Perlisten A2 are both solid choices, but I’d lean Arendal for HT use and flexibility. Also worth looking at angled/on-wall options from Revel, Focal, Monitor Audio, or even Paradigm’s current CI/on-wall lines if you want a closer tonal match. Since you can aim them, prioritize controlled dispersion and easy tilt/swivel mounting over exact timbre match.
