Headphone automatic muting of speakers - block?

Would like to work around automuting of speakers when headphones are used, Yamaha RX-V571. Any help appreciated!

Buy a separate headphone amp and use the analog output. The Yamaha uses a shared volume control chip so you can't use both at the same time IIRC. What headphones are you using?

Yeah the only other option is purchasing a Bluetooth adapter for the headphone and a transmitter for the audio output, but IMHO a headphone amp would serve you better, even a portable one since your headphones are easy load to drive.
