Hello, I have the new Macbook pro which can send audio through the mini display port. so i bought an adaptor which can send audio and video through the hdmi cable. my question is my HDTV is HDMI verison 1.3. But my receiver is HDMI version 1.1
So would the video quality on the hdtv suffer if i run the macbook pro through the receiver with the hdmi cable first given that it is a previous generation hdmi? or should i use an optical cable from the macbook pro to the receiver and the hdmi cable straight from the macbook pro to the hdtv? thank you,
