Need to decide betwixt 3 sets. One set IQ90's might be sold by the weekend. And If I let him know here before too long this evening, he will toss them in his vehicle to bring to work tomorrow about an hour closer for me.
So, it's between Q60's for $200, which I have already heard and they are great.
IQ90's. Have a couple cosmetic dings for $300.
Or brand new Q7 Meta's for about $1800 free shipping from Crutchfield.
Help me decide! Are the IQ90's anywhere near as good as the brand new Q7 Meta's for 6x the price?
I don't want to miss out on the IQ90's if they are damn good or nearly as good as the Q7's.

Well, I like the clean look of the Q7 Meta, plus there are three colors to choose from. I'll get the new ones. I just started to notice that the IQ90's are a mess to look at.

Those iQ90's are incredibly good, and they were the first in the Q series to get the "Tangerine Waveguide" treatment on the tweeter. They're excellent!!

However, they won't beat the new Q7 Meta. Not even close.

Yes, the new Meta. They will be the fist really decent speakers you have owned. Next move is the get the KEF center with the UniQ driver. In centers that is where coaxial drivers just excel and beat the rest.

I sold the La Scalas to a guy very close by. Cash on the barrelhead. So I ordered a pair of the Q7 Metas in walnut from Crutchfield. Even after $150 in tax, I did not pay as much I got for the sale. They are back ordered and they said I am first in the que when they arrive, which is January 27.... I hope! My buddy has no problem letting me use his Q60's until they arrive. I will list the Cornwall center speaker soon, maybe tonight and when that sells, I'll order the matching Kef center.
