My HD cable box and Universal DVD upconverting player are 22 feet away from my HD TV.

Will I get a good signal with that length of HDMI cable run?

Also there are companies selling this length for about 50 dollars.

Is it important to stick with the high price cables?

I will second BlueJeans. I get my cables from them also. Big thumbs up for them.

I use the 35" version of THIS cable from Monoprice and it works perfectly.

I have used 10', 15', 25', 35', and 50' cables from Monoprice as well as a few of them from Blue Jeans Cable and not one of them has ever presented any problems at all.

Moving forward - I use Monoprice because they have worked very well and the one time a cable broke (my fault) they were still happy to replace it for free. Quality customer service and quality cables at a fair price. Great!

I have seen some report that no matter which cable brand they used at such lengths or perhaps a bit longer, it would not work with his TV set. It would work fine with shorter cables. The TV manual also indicated max cable length. So, perhaps the TV is poorly designed what signal strength it needs.
So, just be careful.
