Seriously, I have no life.
Hi,

I have a quick question regarding extracting music from a video file. I need to isolate the background music from a video for a personal project. What is the best software or tool for this task? I’ve tried some free tools online, but the quality isn’t great, and sometimes the audio gets distorted. Is there any professional software that can help with this, or are there any tips for using the tools that improve results? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Here is a higher end extractor.

However I wonder if your problem may be in how you are recording and making your audio Wav. files. This takes some skill. To do it professionally requires a Digital Audio workstation loaded with pro software.

I use WaveLab loaded on my DAW. I just have a feeling you are not keeping track of your bits and bit rate.
Not being able to monitor this properly when making audio recordings leads to huge issues of distortion and artefacts.
