HDMI and Zone 2

Alright, I was trying to help a buddy get his setup all figured out. He uses his laptop to stream music to the PS3 which is then connected via HDMI to his Yammy VX665. We couldn't figure out how to make his zone 2 speakers play the HDMI source. Is that just a feature that the yammy doesn't provide? Thats a deal breaker for him. Solutions?

There is no receiver that does that and only the Denons 2809/3310 and up allow digital coax/optical 2-ch PCM through to the zones.

Exactly what I needed to know. I'll have him keep the analog audio connected as well and he'll just have to switch the PS3 when the application demands it. Thanks...
