Having my subwoofer serviced

So I dropped my sub off to be servieced and he called me today and sead he change some parts in the power supply when I sent it in there I sent it because of a interference noise when it was turning off could this be the cause of that?

That would be the most likely culprit.

Power supplies in subwoofer plate amps, are a disaster, just about uniformly.
